Every year the consulate celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month by honoring the Hispanic & Latino community, for its important contributions to the country, especially enriching the high-tech industry with diverse perspectives, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative solutions.
The Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest and its partners present our LatinTech Pitch, its 2nd edition, 2024 in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
This competition is an opportunity to:
• To win $30,000 total for the top 3 contenders
• To highlight your technology-based start-up
• To obtain recognition from the Israeli Government
• To win a yearlong subscription to the Israeli work management software company Monday.com
• To qualify for a six-month mentorship with a successful Israeli start-upper
• To network with like-minded individuals in the field

Who can apply?
• Must be a Latino or Hispanic founder of a tech-based start-up
• Must be a majority owner or founder of your start-up
• Must be headquartered in Texas
• Must have received less than seed money in funding from investors
• Must be an incorporated company in the United States
• There is no minimum or maximum requirement on how long your start-up has been launched

The Final Pitch will be on September 24th, at the ION, Houston, TX where the top 5 competitors will highlight their startups for a chance of winning one of our three prizes. Formal invitations to the event will be distributed at a later date.
The Consulate is the official representative of Israel to the Southwest. We serve as a liaison between the region and the State of Israel. Our jurisdiction covers the states of Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
