Keren Hayesod – United Israel Appeal hosted the First Friends of Israel Gala Dinner with the Christian community in Hong Kong on Nov 4, 2024, at the Jewish Community Centre
Over 200 religious leaders, guests and friends gathered together at the event in solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people, against the backdrop of this challenging times.
In his opening remarks, Consul General Amir Lati stressed the historic bond between the people of Israel and the land of Israel, and the importance of the partnership, friendship and solidarity from the friends of Israel, as reflected by the heartening attendance last night and the assistance given to various initiatives to help several Israeli communities recover.
Other guest speakers from Hong Kong, the US and Singapore also graced the event with their support.
