H.E. SHLOMIT SUFA ENDS HER TOUR OF DUTY IN GHANA

After three years of serving as the Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone, H.E. Shlomit Sufa ended her tour of duty in Ghana in July 2024.

After three years of serving as the Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone, H.E. Shlomit Sufa ended her tour of duty in Ghana in July 2024. On Thursday, 18th July, the Embassy hosted a farewell reception in her honour to celebrate her excellent work in Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Since August 2021, Ambassador Sufa was involved in diverse initiatives to strengthen the strong relations between Israel and Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Her accomplishments and impact are visible in sectors such as agriculture, innovation, education, health, cybersecurity, women empowerment among others.

 

Highlights of some of her engagements in Ghana include;

  • The establishment of the Jerusalem Forest
  • Setting up of MakeLab Accra
  • Support to the Ghana Digital Innovation Week
  • Refurbishment of 5 ICT classrooms in 5 Senior High Schools across Ghana
  • Establishment of a Gari Processing Centre for women farmers in Asuboi in the Eastern Region

As an Embassy we are very proud of her work and contributions to deepen the relations between Israel and Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
