On Wednesday, 8 December, H. E. Shlomit Sufa visited the On Wednesday, 8 December, H. E. Shlomit Sufa visited the Central Region to familiarize herself with the potentials of the region.
On her visit, Ambassador Sufa met with the Central Regional Minister, Hon. Justina Marigold Assan, the Paramount Chief of the Cape Coast Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwasi Atta and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Prof. Joseph Nyarko Boampong.
Ambassador Sufa discussed possible ways of deepening relations with the region especially on Sister City Projects, Academia and Development.
As part of her activities in the Cape Coast, the capital of Central Region, H. E. Shlomit Sufa participated in the Sixth Research Awards and Grants Ceremony of the Directorate of Research, Innovation and Consultancy at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
In her keynote address, Ambassador Sufa shared the Israeli innovation ecosystem experience and lessons for Ghana. She also emphasized her commitment to strengthen relations between the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and other universities in Israel for research and development.
