The Embassy Press and Media Department acts as a resource for editors, journalists and broadcasters, with the aim of providing information and official statements on issues relating to Israel.
This includes areas of economic, cultural and social interest as well as political developments.
The Press and Media Department organizes interviews and briefings for members of the media with the Ambassador, the Deputy Head of Mission and other Israeli diplomats and representatives visiting Ethiopia. In addition, Israeli officials and experts in a variety of fields are regularly hosted by the department, which coordinates meetings between them and journalists or media personnel. As well as the above, the department is happy to assist members of the press traveling to Israel with written and visual information and help in arranging meetings and interviews on arrival.
