The Embassy of the State of Israel in Ethiopia, accredited to Burundi and the African Union, works to promote the interests of the State of Israel and strengthen Israel’s ties with the countries and organizations in the area of our jurisdiction.
The Embassy carries out various activities to foster cooperation and partnerships, focusing on policy issues, economic affairs, public diplomacy, media, culture, and other aspects of community relations.
In addition to this, the Embassy assists Israeli citizens residing, traveling or working in the area.
Departments at the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ethiopia include the Political Department, Public Diplomacy and Press, MASHAV (Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation), Economic Affairs, and Consular Affairs.
