Entry visa for visiting or touring Israel.

This service enables granting a visa for a short stay in Israel for purposes of visiting, touring, medical tourism, business, nonacademic studies for a short period, etc.
Required Documents To Apply
Travel document valid for at least 3 months beyond the period of the visa.
Printout of a bank statement for at least 3 months.
Confirmation of employment from the applicant's place of employment.
Place of residence in Israel during the period of stay.
Two-way plane ticket (need not be presented when submitting the application).
Medical insurance in force for the entire period of the visit in Israel.
Two recent duplicate passport photos, color against a white background, with full front view of face, measuring 5x5 cm).
Required presence at the Consulate
Appearance in person at the mission is subject to the discretion of the consular representative.
Please note
The aplication must contain all documents listed above, and in addition the following documents, all documents must be Authenticated by the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

1. Business registration certificates, ownership documents, business bank account (signed by the bank manager) if applicable.
2. Business license of your work place.
3. A formal letter from the applicants work place confirming vacation and stating applicant's profession and monthly salary, including mobile number and email of the authorized person.
4. Original marriage or personal status and birth certificate.
5. Police clearance certificate.
6. Invitation letter if applicable, including mobile number and email address of Israeli inviter.


Requirements for short Business trip to Israel:

A person who enters Israel on a B/2 visa is not allowed to work in the State of Israel. The application has to include all documents listed above, and also the following documents:
1. Company's bank account signed and stamped by the bank manager.
2. Correspondence with business contacts in Israel, including mobile number and email address of Israeli inviter.
3. Documents proving applicant's regular business activities.
4. Letter from applicant's company stating the purpose of the applicants visit, including mobile number and email address of the company's contact person.


Requirements for short visit for Medical treatment:

Applicant's who wishes to stay in Israel for only a short time, for a Medical treatment can apply for B/2 visa. The application has to include all documents listed above, and in addition the following documents:

1. Formal letter from a hospital in Israel including full medical diagnosis, and description of medical treatment, signed and stamped by the hospital management, including mobile number and email address of the hospital contact person.
2. Confirmation of payment for treatment.
3. Formal letter from a hospital in Ethiopia including full medical diagnosis signed and stamped by the hospital management including mobile number and email address of the hospitals contact person.
4. Formal confirmation letter from the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, for getting Medical treatment outside of Ethiopia, including full medical diagnosis.


Please note:
- The Consul may request additional documents.
- Since the fee is collected for handling the application, it will not be refunded to the applicant if the visa is not issued for any reason.



Minors applying for a visa will also need the following:

1. Original and authenticated by the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Of The Federal Democratic Republic Of Ethiopia, birth certificate with the names of both parents.
2. Two parental consent forms for issuing a visa for a minor, one for each parent or legal guardian. Please note that the parents or legal guardians must sign the form in front of a consular officer at the Embassy. If one of the parents cannot come to the Embassy in person, they must sign the form in front of an Israeli notary, and the other parent must bring the notarized form to the Embassy.

Who can apply?

Foreign citizens who wish to receive a visa for a short stay in Israel for the purposes of visiting, sightseeing, medical tourism, business, non-academic studies for a short period, etc., may submit the application.

Fill out the attached form and send it to the Israeli representative office. 
Personal appearance at the mission is subject to the discretion of the consular representative.
