The Commercial Office at the Embassy of Israel assists with enquiries from organisations and businesses who are looking to expand their activities and increase trade relations between the two countries.
We organise a number of events, across a range of different sectors with the aim of promoting and facilitating business opportunities between Israel and the UK, as well as assembling trade delegations both to and from Israel.

Head Of Trade & Economic Department: Ofer Fohrer
Ofer Fohrer, Minister for Economic Affairs at the Israeli Embassy to the UK, has more than 12 years of experience representing the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry in a wide range of executive positions.
Appointed to his present position in September 2020, Mr. Fohrer is responsible for maintaining and strengthening Israel's economic and business relationships with the UK, including supporting Israeli export initiatives to the UK market, as well as fostering investments from the UK to Israel.
Since first joining the Ministry in the summer of 2008, Mr. Fohrer was a member of the North America Department. From 2010 – 2014, he served as the Israeli Commercial Attaché to South Korea, responsible for promoting trade and investment between South Korea and Israel. In 2014-2016 Mr. Fohrer served as the Director of the North and Latin America and Middle-East Department, managing Israel's Commercial Offices in the western hemisphere, and prior to his recent appointment, from 2016-2020, he served as the Director of the Service and Data Management Division, overseeing his unit's economic research, human resource development, as well as media and marketing strategies.
Mr. Fohrer holds a MA (2007) in Diplomacy, and a BA in political Science (2005), from the Tel Aviv University.
He is married with three children.
