Head of Civil Society and Domestic Affairs Department: Hodaya Avzada

Hodaya Avzada has been serving as the Head of Civil Society and Domestic Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in London, United Kingdom since September 2022.

Prior to that, Ms. Avzada, for three years, served as a Political Advisor at the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi, India. There, she focused on domestic and international affairs and has been instrumental in fostering positive relationships between Israel and India.

Prior to her tenure at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Avzada held the position of Project Manager in the Currency Department at the Bank of Israel. Ms. Avzada holds an MBA degree from Ben Gurion University in Israel as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
