The ambassador

Ambassador Tzach Sarid has a bachelor's degree in geography from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a master's degree in business administration from Ono Academic College in Kiryat Ono.

Ambassador Sarid has an extensive career in the Israeli Foreign Ministry. He represented Israel as consul in the Czech Republic, South Korea, Venezuela and Peru, and as deputy head of the mission at the Israeli embassy in Switzerland. Among the positions he held in Israel: Deputy Director of the South America Department and Responsible for economic relations Israel - Africa and South America.

From October 2023 he is the ambassador of the State of Israel in Ecuador.
