Israeli embassy delivered 300 kits for victims of floods in Bolívar
A total of 300 kits with hygiene products, blankets and cleaning products were delivered by the Israeli embassy to the province of Bolívar, where the severe winter caused rivers to overflow and affected 3,000 families in the Echeandía.
The delivery was made by Ambassador Tzach Sarid in the presence of the Ab. Vanessa Espinosa, delegate of the prefect of the province of Bolívar. The donations were delivered directly to the affected families.
The Echeandía canton, in the province of Bolívar, has been experiencing difficult moments since February 20 after the overflowing of the Soloma River that caused the collapse of 10 homes, affecting 3,000 families.
This is not the first time that Israel provides aid of this type to Ecuador; on previous occasions the diplomatic delegation has delivered donations to those affected by the flood in Alausí, floods in Esmeraldas and Guayas, among others.
The donation was possible thanks to Mashav, the Israeli international cooperation agency.
