The normalization of diplomatic relations between Israel and the UAE was announced by a shared declaration between Israel, the UAE and the US. The declaration was released following a phone call between the leaders of the three countries: Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu; President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and President of the USA, Donald Trump.

Signatories to the Accords are US President Donald Trump; Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Dr. Abd al-Latif al-Ziani.
