Bilateral relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates

The normalization of diplomatic relations between Israel and the UAE was announced by a shared declaration between Israel, the UAE and the US. The declaration was released following a phone call between the leaders of the three countries: Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu; President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and President of the USA, Donald Trump.

The Abraham Accords were signed in an official ceremony at the White House, by Israel, the UAE, Bahrain, and the USA. Signatories to the Accords are US President Donald Trump; Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Highness Dr. Abd al-Latif al-Ziani.
