The Economic and Commercial Department works to advance Israel’s interests and to encourage bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism, trade, investments, technology, agriculture, environment, energy etc.
The department serves as an information broker about Israeli products and services and facilitates contacts between interested business stakeholders, including governmental and non-government organizations.
The tasks include following and analyzing domestic economic developments and provide support to a wide range of professional activities with a connection to Israeli interests.
