May you be sealed in the book of life
Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the Jewish calendar. It is the day on which we are closest to G-d and to the quintessence of our own souls.
It is the Day of Atonement: “For on this day He will forgive you, to purify you, that you be cleansed from all your sins before G-d.”
For nearly 26 hours, Jews abstain from food and drink, abstain from marital relations and spend the day in a synagogue, saying special prayers for forgiveness. Many Jews have the custom of wearing white to the synagogue to symbolize the purity they hope to attain by the end of the day.
We wish you a meaningful and peaceful Yom Kippur!!
May you be sealed in the book of life 📖
