The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Eli Cohen paid an official visit to the Republic of Croatia on Monday, May 29, 2023.
During the visit, Minister Cohen met with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, President Zoran Milanović, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman, as well as the Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Academician Željko Reiner.
Excellent bilateral relations between Croatia and Israel were confirmed at the meetings, and there was talk of expanding cooperation in various areas, especially energy and tourism.
In addition to the meetings, Minister Cohen and Minister Grlić Radman laid wreaths at the monument to the Homeland, as well as at the monument to the victims of the Holocaust and the Ustasha regime.
Minister Cohen also visited PLIVA Croatia, owned by the Israeli pharmaceutical company Teva.
