Economic, Commercial, and environment department

The economic and commercial department of the Israeli Embassy in Costa Rica develops actions to promote and increase commercial exchange between both countries and promote the interests of the Israeli industry in Costa Rica.

Among the functions of the Department, participation in trade fairs and events, the dissemination of information, technology transfer, and personalized attention to those interested in doing business or establishing themselves in the country stand out.

Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV)

The Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV, for its acronym in Hebrew), belongs to the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is responsible for formulating and implementing cooperation in friendly countries.

Created in 1958, it shares its experience in different fields with professionals worldwide, by scheduling regular courses held in Israel or coordinating mobile training programs (in situ).

Fields such as AGRITECH (agricultural technology), efficient management of water resources, education, innovation and entrepreneurship, and citizen security stand out. The calls are published through our social networks and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Costa Rica.
