The consulate represents the State of Israel in Colombia, and works to promote Israel's various interests and strengthen relations between the two countries.
Colombia and Israel have had diplomatic relations since 1950, and Colombia has a consulate in Israel.
The consulate is an official body of the State of Israel for Israelis in Colombia, and by virtue of that, it assists them in everything required within its authority.
