Musician Tal Kravitz's first visit to Cameroon

Musician Tal Kravitz's first visit to Cameroon took place from 9 to 16 December 2024, with a rich, intense and varied programme.

great choral music concert

As soon as he arrived, musician Tal Kravitz was warmly welcomed by Mrs. Smadar Kalmar of the Israeli Embassy. The two days of rehearsals for the grand concert with the MBOA National Youth Choir went well, and the Grand Choral Concert was held on Thursday 12 December 2024, in the Chapel of the Protestant University of Central Africa (PUCA). The concert, which was mainly attended by students from the University, was a great success with the audience, who will treasure its unforgettable memories.

Musician Tal Kravitz's stay was also punctuated by activities such as master classes. He gave three of them at PUCA, two on the Hebrew language in song, and another on making art, decorations and jewelry from natural and recycled materials.

His visit was also a real moment of sharing joy and happiness with several institutions in the city of Yaoundé. He shared his musical experience with pupils from the Texas Graceland school, the Centre Triso-cœur, the Greener Pastures school and the CAMFAIDS association. At every stage of his visit, it was the joy of living, the communion through music with children with special needs, the songs of joy and gladness.

Musician Tal Kravitz's visit was also an opportunity to discover Cameroon as a tourist destination. He visited the National Museum of Cameroon, the Mefou primate park and the Yaoundé craft market.

Throughout his stay, Tal Kravitz was accompanied by Israeli volunteers Debi and Billie. As part of his visit, they organized various workshops (cooking, coaching, relaxation, etc.) for those present.

Musician Tal Kravitz was delighted with his visit, which he considered to be one of the most memorable of all those he has already made around the world, and promised that he would be back next year for other great projects.
