The Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon H.E. Amnon Kalmar had the pleasure to meet His Majesty the first Vice-President of the Senate H.M. Aboubakary Abdoulaye.
Last November 18, the Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon H.E. Amnon Kalmar had the pleasure to meet His Majesty the first Vice-President of the Senate H.M. Aboubakary Abdoulaye.
On his arrival at the Senate, H.E. Amnon Kalmar received military honors as well as on his departure.
He was then taken to the room where the First Vice-President of the Senate was waiting for him. The two men greeted each other warmly and amicably from the very first moment they embraced. Ambassador Amnon immediately felt at ease in his presence.
The Vice-President asked how Ambassador Amnon was feeling since his arrival in Cameroon. Ambassador Amnon had nothing but good things to say about Cameroon, that the people were friendly, sympathetic and kind, that he and his wife felt really good and that they were happy to be in Cameroon.
Ambassador Kalmar informed the Vice-President of the Israeli Embassy's plan to provide substantial humanitarian assistance in the form of medicines and foodstuffs to the disaster-stricken populations of the Far North region, following the serious floods that caused many losses. His Majesty was very pleased to learn of this, and indicated that it was very important for Cameroon. Ambassador Kalmar informed his host of the imminent arrival in Cameroon of MASHAV Director H.E. Eynat Shlein, who will be meeting with certain members of the government. The Vice-President of the Senate was delighted to hear this news. Other subjects relating to agriculture and innovation were also discussed.
The two men said their goodbyes in a friendly atmosphere.
