The Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon, H.E. Amnon Kalmar, accompanied by his Spouse, Mrs. Smadar Kalmar, were delighted to hand over equipment and educational materials to the Astric Triso-Coeur Association's Special Education Centre.
The Ambassador of Israel to Cameroon, H.E. Amnon Kalmar, accompanied by his Spouse, Mrs. Smadar Kalmar, were delighted to hand over equipment and educational materials to the Astric Triso-Coeur Association's Special Education Centre.
After visiting the Centre for the first time on 21 August, Mrs. Smadar Kalmar was able to see for herself how effective the Centre's work is for children with special needs. She spoke with the Centre's promoter and educators. She also noted the Centre's needs and worked to find solutions.
It was with great pleasure and satisfaction that they visited the Centre's new location, which is more spacious than its predecessor. The children at the Centre now have a large living room, a kitchen where they can learn to cook and eat their meals, and several other small learning rooms.
The new location of the Education Centre will also increase the capacity for children with special needs, and continue to provide support for parents with children with disabilities.
The Ambassador and his wife congratulated Mrs. Kengne Vanessa, the Centre's promoter, and her team for their remarkable work, and look forward to continuing this cooperation in the future.
