The Israeli Ambassador to Cameroon, Amnon Kalmer, accompanied by his wife, Ms. Smadar Kalmer, were pleased to deliver equipment and educational materials to the special education center of the Astric Triso-Coeur association.
After visiting the center for the first time on August 21, Ms. Smadar Kalmer was able to see for herself how effective the center’s work is for children with special needs. She spoke with the center’s founders and educators. She also noted the center’s needs and worked to find solutions.
With great pleasure and satisfaction, they visited the center’s new location, which is more spacious than its previous one. The children at the center now have a large living room, a kitchen where they can learn to cook and eat their meals, and several small learning rooms.
The new location of the education center will also increase the capacity for children with special needs, and will continue to provide support to parents with children with disabilities.
The Ambassador and his wife congratulated Ms. Kangana Vanessa, the center's promoter, and her team for their amazing work, and look forward to continuing this collaboration in the future.
