Ambassador Yosi Levi Sfari, along with the Mayor of Dupnitsa, Mr. Parvan Dangov, visited the Teva Bulgaria plant in Dupnitsa, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.
During the visit, they explored the significant economic impact Teva has on Bulgaria , as well as the innovative practices integrated into its production processes. The discussions also touched on the company's strong commitment to environmental sustainability, its special programs and practices in corporate social responsibility, and the various challenges currently facing the pharmaceutical industry.
Together with Mr. Robert Kuzela, Director of the Dupnitsa plant, and Mr. Nikolay Hadzhidonchev, Managing Director of Teva’s commercial operations in Bulgaria and Greece, they toured the plant’s new production facility, a $42 million investment. This new facility will not only boost the plant's production capacity but also create new jobs for the people of Dupnitsa and the surrounding region.
