The meeting discussed the signing of an agreement between the Bulgarian and Israeli Ministries of Health, dedicated to maternal and child health.
The agreement aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and innovative approaches to improve health outcomes for mothers and children in both countries. The cooperation will provide opportunities for the training of doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel in the fields of women's health and reproductive medicine; exchange of information on modern technologies and methods for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases; exchange of experts in the field of maternal and child health while exploring the possibility of establishing a national children's hospital in Bulgaria, among other initiatives.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Alexander Oscar, Ms. Teodora Tabakova, Chief of Staff, Dr. Blagomir Zdravkov, Executive Director of the University Pediatric Hospital, Dr. Vladko Gligorov, Director of the Health Investment Company for the construction of the National Children's Hospital, as well as other representatives of the Bulgarian Ministry of Health.
