Iranian Regime's Unprecedented Direct Attack on Israel

April 13, 2024 – over 320 missiles and UAV's launched

Iran Attacks Israel

What happened on April 13:
The Iranian regime launched over 320 projectiles towards Israel.
         These included:
About 170 UAV's suicide drones – none entered Israel (these are the same
UAV's that are being used against the Ukrainian people)
About 120 ballistic missiles – a few entered Israel
Around 30 cruise missiles – none crossed into Israeli territory
Additional rockets

These projectiles held approximately 60 tons of warheads and explosive materials – it is clear that the intent of the Iranian regime was to cause death, harm, and devastation.

Main things we can see and learn from this:
Iran is serious in its threat to destroy Israel and destabilize the Middle East - When you shoot over 320 projectiles timed to hit Israel at the same moment, when you use three fundamentally different weapon types—cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and UAVs, you’re looking to penetrate Israel’s defenses and kill Israelis.

As Iranian drones and missiles rained down on Israel, in Tehran, members of Iran's parliament celebrated the attack, chanting "Death to Israel!"

For those who may have thought differently, this is more proof that Israel cannot stop its war against the Hamas terror organization in Gaza – Until it is defeated
The Iranian Regime and the Ayotollas have been very clear with their intentions
of destroying Israel – they have been funding, training, leading their terror proxies
for years:
Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza, Houthis in Yemen, and other terror cells around the world.

When the Iranian regime realized their goals of destruction and destabilization were not achieved, it launched an unprecedented direct attack on Israel from Iran itself.

The damage is limited not due to Iran's intention, but only due to the amazing Israeli aerial defense systems.
Having said this, we should not forget Amina Elhasuny, the 7 year-old Israeli-Arab fighting for her life, due to injuries incurred by the Iranian attack.

Israel is not alone in its fight – the United States, Great Britain, France and other allies stood alongside Israel and shot down the missiles and UAV's
Together, we intercepted 99% of the threats to Israel. Together we thwarted Iran’s attack. Iran’s unprecedented attack—was met with an unprecedented defense. This was the first time—that such a coalition worked together against the threat of Iran and its proxies in the Middle East.

Israel is fighting for its life, it is also fighting everyone's war - if these fanatic terrorists get away with murder by hiding among civilians, this method will be adopted by terrorists worldwide.
We’re not asking anyone to fight for us. We’ll do the job.
But we do expect our allies to have our back, especially when it’s tough—and now it’s tough.

The Iranian Regime's goal is not only to destroy Israel, but to destabilize the Middle East and harm others as well
The Iranian proxy terror group, Houthis in Yemen, have been interfering with international shipping routes from months; including sinking ships, kidnapping crews, and not allowing free maritime passages.
On April 13th, Iran itself, not using its Houthi proxy, highjacked from Hormuz Straights, a Portuguese ship with 17 sailors from India and 4 from the Philippines on board.

Hostages
Even while under attack from Iran, we have not lost sight—not for one moment— of our critical mission in Gaza to rescue our hostages from the hands of Iran’sterror proxy, Hamas. We will continue to fight tirelessly as is our duty and  obligation to do everything in our power to bring the 133 remaining hostages home.

Humanitarian Assistance
Israel has not stopped, even for a minute, coordinating and bringing into Gaza the humanitarian assistance.
The number of trucks has been on the rise, and so have the amounts of food, water, and other supplies. They are reaching northern Gaza as well and the parachuting of supplies and aid is also continuing.
Israel and Egypt are working with UN and international agencies to get more trucks into Gaza (at the moment UN is limited and more trucks go in from Israel and Egypt than the UN can handle)

Israel completed work on a water pipe that will allow even more clean water into Gaza

23 bakeries are working right now in Gaza, should be around 3 million pita bread
per day

High Alert
Israel is still on high alert and assessing the situation. Over the last few hours—
operational plans have been approved for both offensive and defensive actions.
We will continue to protect the State of Israel and—together with our partners—
we will continue to build a more secure and stable future for the Middle East.”

Israel's Aerial Defense Systems:
1. Arrow: This joint American-Israeli system is intended to intercept long-range missiles, such as the ballistic missiles that Iran claims to have launched on Saturday. Throughout the present conflict, the Arrow, which functions outside of the atmosphere, has been utilized to prevent long-range missiles fired into Yemen by Houthi militants.
2. David’s Sling: Developed with the U.S., the David’s Sling is aimed to intercept medium-range missiles, such as those possessed by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
3. Patriot: The American-made system is the oldest missile-defence system in Israel and was built in the United States, employed to stop Iraq’s then-leader, Saddam Hussein, from firing Scud missiles during the First Gulf War in 1991. The Patriot is now used to shoot down aircraft, including drones.
4. Iron Dome: This Israeli-American jointly developed device is designed to knock down short-range rockets and was developed by Israel with support from the United States. Since it was turned on early last decade, it has intercepted thousands of rockets, thousands of which have come during the ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Hamas. Israel claims it has a success rate of over 90%.
