If the application is for the renewal of an expired document, the application together with the required documents can be sent by mail to the mission in the country where the applicant is staying.

The service is available to Israeli citizens or residents living abroad.
The applicant can schedule an appointment through the online appointment scheduler, at an Israeli mission in the country where he/she is staying, and bring all the documents in person to the mission.
The application with all the accompanying documents can be sent by mail, according to the instructions on the website of the mission.
Please note: When sending by mail, you must send the original documents and keep photocopies.
To visit the mission, it is necessary to schedule an appointment in advance.
Before coming to the mission, make sure you have with you all the required documents and completed forms.
Payment must be made according to the Consular fee Chart.
Cases where required to appear in person at the Consulate by scheduling an appointment in advance:
*A citizen renewing his passport for the first time as an adult (18+)
*A citizen age 28 and over who has not visited Israel in the last 10 years
*A citizen whose passport is lost/damaged/vandalized/stolen
In order to renew a travel document for adults (18+), please send your application by mail.
To renew a minor's travel document, you have to schedule an appointment at the Consulate.
Please send via mail the following documents:
1. The old Israeli passport
2. Application form filled out and signed
3. Two updated passport pictures (2x2 inches) on a white background without glasses or hats, and the hair must be behind the ears. Please make sure that the photos are in focus.
4. Payment form. ($79 for travel documents and $15 for delivery). Please note that American Express and Discover cards are not accepted.
Please note: The sender is responsible for all documents mailed to and from the Consulate.
