This week, 11 Israeli Agri-Tech companies arrived in Thailand to engage with government leaders, agricultural corporations, and farmers’ associations, aiming to advance smart farming, promote sustainable growth, and integrate technology into agriculture for a more resilient future. 🌍🌱

Ambassador of Israel visited Pai District following recent reports regarding Israeli tourists

H.E. Ms. Orna Sagiv, Ambassador of Israel to Thailand, visited Pai District in Mae Hong Son Province to clarify facts regarding Israeli tourists. foster accurate understanding among the local community. The visit also aimed to engage with Israeli travelers, emphasizing the importance of respecting local laws and culture while encouraging their positive contribution to the community.

During the visit, Ambassador Orna met with Rabbi and groups of Israeli tourists in Pai to hear about their perspectives while reiterating the significance of cultural awareness and responsible tourism. Ambassador also participated in discussions with H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as well as senior officials, including the Governor of Mae Hong Son and Pai’s local administrators.

Ambassador Orna expressed her gratitude to Thai authorities and the people of Pai for their warm hospitality. She reaffirmed Israel’s ongoing efforts to provide guidance to Israeli travelers regarding Thai customs, traditions, and legal regulations. Israel deeply values its long-standing friendship with Thailand and remains committed to strengthening positive relations between Israeli tourists and the Thai people.
