Last night, the Embassy of Israel in Bangkok and the Israeli community in Thailand gathered to commemorate the victims of the #October7Massacre. We honored the 1,200 lives lost, including 41 Thai workers. 255 individuals were taken hostages, with 101 still in captivity.
The ceremony presented powerful speeches, personal testimonies, prayers, and performances from both Israelis and Thais, joined by the Christian community. Among the speakers were Ambassador of Israel, H.E. Ms. Orna Sagiv and Ms. Aoyjai Chaisri, widow of Mr. Arnan Phetkaeo, a Thai worker who was murdered in the attack, along with religious leaders and soldiers who shared their experiences and feelings. It was a solemn night of remembrance for strength and unity in the face of tragedy.
