Application by a foreign national born in Israel to receive a "Confirmation of Birth" certificate

This service enables foreign nationals born in Israel to obtain a birth certificate in Hebrew and in English for themselves or for their family members.
Required Documents To Apply
Photocopy of mother's passport.
Original copy of the "Live Birth" certificate received at the time of birth.
A power of attorney or court order - When the application is submitted by someone other than the applicant
Tip
The certificate issued in Hebrew or Hebrew and English only.
In order to receive an Apostille stamp on the certificate, you must transfer a payment of 9 CHF, also in addition to pay for registered mail of 6.8 CHF to send the certificate to your address.

By email – the documents listed above should be scanned and attached to the application, which should be sent to an Israeli mission in the country where the applicant is staying.

By mail – according to the instructions appearing on the Ministry's website.
