The Economic and Trade Mission
The Economic and Trade Mission is led by Ben Haimi, representative of the Foreign Trade Administration at the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
Israel economic and trade missions are at the forefront of the Israeli government efforts to promote our industries in foreign markets.
Our teams provide a wide range of services to Israeli companies and to the international business community.
Israeli companies can submit an application on the ERM System (Export Request Management System) and submit a request to the Foreign Trade Administration Economic Consuls, located in over 50 capitals and business centers around the world, for assistance with:
- Promoting export and trade - identifying, locating and creating a business connection with distributors, buyers, agents and target companies.
- Attracting foreign investments - identifying, locating and creating business connections with investment funds, investment bodies and investors around the world.
- Obtaining business intelligence and information about the target market - economic, business and commercial information about the target market, the country, the economy, the leading sectors and more.
- Identifying business opportunities - commercial exhibitions, delegations to Israel and the target market, professional conferences and presentation opportunities to business audiences.
- Treatment and simplification of regulation - assistance in dealing with trade barriers, regulatory challenges, restrictions by foreign local government and so on.
Foreign entities looking to find the right Israeli companies to cooperate with or interested to explore the Israeli ecosystem or companies’ products and different technological solutions can address the economic and trade mission and ask to help facilitate communications.
The service is free of charge.
