Consulate hosts Israeli agricultural technology delegation in Shanghai & Changzhou
In late September, the Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai hosted Mrs. Dana Kedar, the director of Israeli agritech innovation community GrowingIL, and a delegation of representatives of Israeli agriculture companies. During the visit, the delegation participated in two business roadshow events at the China-Israel Innovation Hub (CIIH) in Shanghai and at the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park in Changzhou. Both events included presentations from Mrs. Kedar, the participating companies and B2B meetings. In addition, the delegation held meetings with the Shanghai Municipal Department of Agriculture, private companies Lankuaikei and Bright Food, and relevant investors. Agriculture has played a large role in the business ties between China and Israel since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992. The consulate sees great importance in continuing to nurture agricultural ties between Israel and China, including the implementation of cutting-edge Israeli technology in China to solve problems facing the local market.
