The Economic and Political Department works on strengthening trade and economic relationships between Israel and Latvia.

The focus of the Economic and Political Department is:

Strengthening of trade and economic relationships between Israel and Latvia;
Providing information to interested persons, organizations, state authorities about Israeli, Latvian, manufacturers and exporters, trade organizations and state authorities;
Organization of business and state delegation visits;
Dissemination of economics related materials to interested persons, authorities and organizations;
Establishing and keeping contacts with various authorities and organizations in Israel, Latvia;
Providing information about exposures and economics related enterprises in Israel, Latvia.
