O DEPARTAMENTO DE IMPRENSA E DIPLOMACIA DIGITAL
The Embassy Press and Digital Diplomacy Department acts as a resource for editors, journalists and broadcasters, with the aim of providing information and official statements on issues relating to Israel. This includes areas of economic, cultural and social interest as well as political developments. The department is also responsible for the embassy’s digital channels and communication through them.
The Press and Digital Diplomacy Department organizes interviews and briefings for members of the media with the Ambassador, the Embassy Deputy Head of Mission and other Israeli diplomats and representatives visiting Portugal. In addition, Israeli officials and experts in a variety of fields are hosted by the department, which coordinates meetings between them and journalists or media personnel. The department is happy to assist members of the press traveling to Israel with written and visual information and help in arranging meetings and interviews on arrival.
The department also carries out digital diplomacy through social media and other digital media channels, sharing the activities of the embassy and engaging with followers and various audiences.

O Departamento de Imprensa e Diplomacia Digital da Embaixada actua como um recurso para editores, jornalistas e organismos de radiodifusão, com o objetivo de fornecer informações e declarações oficiais sobre questões relacionadas com Israel. Isto inclui áreas de interesse económico, cultural e social, bem como desenvolvimentos políticos. O departamento é também responsável pelos canais digitais da embaixada e pela comunicação através deles.
O Departamento de Imprensa e Diplomacia Digital organiza entrevistas e briefings para membros dos media com o Embaixador, o Chefe de Missão Adjunto da Embaixada e outros diplomatas e representantes israelitas de visita a Portugal. Além disso, funcionários e peritos israelitas em vários domínios são recebidos pelo departamento, que coordena encontros entre eles e jornalistas ou pessoal dos meios de comunicação social. O departamento tem todo o gosto em ajudar os membros da imprensa que se deslocam a Israel com informações escritas e visuais e em ajudar a organizar encontros e entrevistas à chegada.
O departamento também exerce diplomacia digital através das redes sociais e de outros canais de comunicação social digital, partilhando as actividades da Embaixada e interagindo com seguidores e vários públicos.
