Ambassador Eran Yuvan donated 6 laptops, multimedia projectors and a water dripping system
Ambassador of Israel Eran Yuvan delivered to the Vice Minister of Social Benefits of The Ministry of Social Development and Social Inclusion (MIDIS), Jessica Niño de Guzmán, digital and technical equipment for the Tambo de Canocota in the Arequipa region and Tambo de Ticapampa in the La Libertad region - all part of the PAIS Program. The equipment included 6 laptops equipped with Windows 10 operating system, 2 mini multimedia projectors and a technical irrigation equipment.
Ambassador Yuvan highlighted that despite the difficult war in Israel, this donation is part of the ongoing cooperation program that MASHAV, the Israeli Agency for International Development Cooperation, carries out in Peru through our diplomatic mission.
Vice Minister Niño de Guzman expressed her gratitude on behalf of the benefited users and emphasized that despite the complicated times that Israel is going through, the MASHAV program continues and reinforces ties of cooperation and friendship between Peru and Israel.
This donation is the third delivery of technological equipment delivered by the Israeli embassy: In 2021 equipment was delivered to the Tambos of Cajamarca and Huancavelica, and in 2022 to the Tambos of Cusco, Ayacucho, San Martín and Tacna. On this occasion, the purpose is to cooperate with communities in the regions of Arequipa and La Libertad and contribute to the sustainability and strengthening of human capabilities, while closing social, educational and technological gaps.
The event took place at the MIDIS headquarters and was attended by the Executive Director of the PAIS National Program, Fidel Pintado Pasapera, and the Director of International Cooperation of MIDIS, Normy Wieslawa de Pawlikowski.
