The Cultural and So-Me Department of the Israeli Embassy in Norway enhances our embassy's cultural and academic relations with local and Israeli artists, organizations, and places of cultural interest. The Cultural and So-Me officer manages all social media platforms, promoting Israel's diversity in Norway and Iceland, and expanding cultural collaborations. The officer also analyzes local media, assists diplomats, and coordinates events.

We also strive for stronger bilateral ties between Norwegian and Israeli Academy.
This applies at university level, at researcher level and at student level.

Scholarship
- The "Thanks to Scandinavia" fund awards grants every year as a thank you to the Scandinavian countries for their efforts to save Jews during the Second World War. Two scholarships are awarded for one year of full-time studies at the Hebrew University and eight scholarships (two per country) for summer courses at the Hebrew University.
