The Israel Economic Mission to the East Coast, based in New York, is part of the Foreign Trade Administration at the Israeli Ministry of Economy. Our goal is to promote trade and investment between Israel and the United States, particularly the markets on the East Coast. We seek to enhance exports out of Israel and to promote investments in Israeli companies.
The Mission promotes collaboration between Israeli and U.S. companies in a variety of sectors, including cyber, fintech, AI, digital health & life sciences, proptech, consumer goods, retail tech, , smart cities, clean energy and climate-tech, homeland security, software and IT, water technology and others.
The Economic Mission fosters business collaborations and facilitates strategic cooperation between Israeli companies and US companies, organizations and other eco-system business players;
We work closely with local business communities, helping them bridge technological gaps through the introduction of relevant Israeli technological solutions. We offer free of charge scouting services to strategic U.S. investors and MNCs and collaborate around technology and innovation with the leading local business players.
We encourage foreign investment in Israeli companies and support Israeli companies in developing R&D or other strategic cooperation with the local business community.
We support Israeli companies by providing business information and contacts on the East Coast from a variety of economic sectors.
Head of the Economic Mission : Anat Katz
Anat Katz is the Government of Israel's Economic Minister for North America, based in New York.
Before her current position, Anat's career has been marked by significant leadership roles in Israeli government institutions. She headed the International Affairs Division of the Knesset and Israel's parliament. Subsequently, Anat returned to the Ministry of Economy and Industry, where she established and led the Ministry's Export Control Agency.
Anat's professional background is further enhanced by her legal expertise, as she is a certified lawyer in Israel.
Anat is married to Tal and is the mother of two boys
