Israel Memorial Day (Yom HaZikaron) was observed at the Embassy to honor and remember the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives protecting Israeli civilians and all the loved ones - women, children and men - who were murdered, kidnapped, burned and tortured by terror groups.
The event brought together members of the Israeli community in Nepal, visiting Israeli travelers and Embassy staffs. Memorial torches were lit, prayers were offered and a moment of silence was observed in deep reflection and remembrance.
