Ms. Awantika Rimal from Nepal participated in the MASHAV Course on “Combating Gender-Based Violence,” which was held from23 March – 4 April 2025 in Haifa, Israel.

Sharing her MASHAV experience, she said, “The training was an enriching and transformative experience. The sessions were thoughtfully curated and delivered by highly knowledgeable facilitators. It was also a privilege to engage and exchange ideas with fellow professionals from diverse backgrounds, which greatly enhanced my learning and global perspective. This experience has strengthened my commitment to advancing gender equality and addressing gender-based violence in Nepal, and I look forward to applying the knowledge and skills gained through this course in my ongoing work.”

These programs, organized under Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV) offer valuable exposure to Israeli expertise and knowledge. By participating in these intensive training programs, Nepali professionals gain practical insights and modern approaches that can be adapted and implemented in Nepal’s development context.
