Farewell for Ambassador Hanan Goder by Shalom Club Nepal

Shalom Club Nepal, the association of Nepali Alumni who have participated in MASHAV Courses in Israel, organized a farewell event, led by Prof. Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha, in honour of H.E. Mr. Hanan Goder-Goldberger, Ambassador of Israel to Nepal. Ambassador Goder has successfully completed his second tenure in Nepal, spanning four years (2020-24). The farewell event, hosted by Mr. Rameshwor Aryal, Chairperson of Kathmandu Model College (KMC), was attended by Shalom Club members and close friends, who expressed their gratitude for Ambassador Goder’s invaluable contribution to fostering collaborations and friendship between Nepal and Israel. 


During his tenure, numerous initiatives and projects were undertaken across various sectors including agriculture, health, education, entrepreneurship and others. Some of the key initiatives included the Nepali Auxiliary Workers Program in collaboration with the Governments of Nepal and Israel, Tailormade courses providing specialized training for Nepalese participants in Israel, the Learn and Earn program, and bringing medical cargo from Israel during COVID-19, among many others. 


The event was marked by heartfelt speeches, warm farewells, and expressions of appreciation, celebrating the enduring impact of Ambassador Goder’s work in Nepal.
