The Embassy of Israel in Yangon helps build an Orphanage for Myanmar Children dedicated for the Bibas brothers in hope of their safe return.

The Embassy of Israel in Yangon was helping build an orphanage for Myanmar children, dedicated to the Bibas brothers, in hopes of their safe return.
This meaningful project started on July 19th, 2024 with the draft foundation of Grace Orphanage building. On August 8th, 2024, required items were bought and delivered to the orphanage, supporting its construction and the children’s needs. On August 15th, 2024, work began on setting the drainage system for the orphanage, a crucial step in its development. The walls of the orphanage were plastered on September 11th, 2024, as part of the ongoing construction progress. On September 22nd, 2024, paints from the Nirlat Paint Factory in Kibbutz Nir-Oz which had been re-operated after being burned by Hamas and the place where the Bibas brothers and their mother, Shiri, were kidnapped, were donated to the orphanage, furthering its progress. On December 12th, 2024, the painting process was completed, with colors brought by the Nirlat Paint Factory from Kibbutz Nir-Oz.
With all of these efforts, the Embassy of Israel in Yangon completed the renovation with love for the Orphanage in north Yangon by February 20th, 2025 dedicated to the Ariel and Kfir Bibas as well as the Israeli Nir Oz orphans.
