The Department of Jewish Affairs serves as the liaison between the consulate and the Jewish communities, institutions, and organizations in Florida, Kansas, Missouri, and Puerto Rico. The mission of the department is to foster cooperation and build relationships with Jewish institutions and pro-Israel Jewish organizations. This is achieved by providing Israel-related information, organizing programs and activities, and coordinating speakers, conferences, and various seminars that address issues within the Jewish community and Israeli society. Monitoring and fighting antisemitism is also an important task of this department and the consulate as a whole.
