Deputy Consul General - Mrs. Ayellet Black
Ayellet Black commenced her role as Deputy Consul General in Miami in August 2024, focusing on strengthening ties between Israel and Florida, Kansas, Missouri, and Puerto Rico.
Her Diplomatic career began after completing the cadet course in 2015, followed by serving as a desk officer in the Eurasia department, handling Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova. In 2016 – 2020 Ayellet served as Israel’s Deputy Ambassador in Pretoria, South Africa, overseeing relations with South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mauritius, and Madagascar.
She later served as the Desk Officer for the Eastern and Southern Africa Department in 2020. In 2022, Black joined the Bureau for Personnel Training and Development, where she directed the Political Cadet Course, training the classes of 2023 and 2024 of Israel's future diplomats.
Black holds a BA in Political Science, Communication, and Judaism, as well as an MA in International Relations from Bar Ilan University. She is married with two children
