The Culture and Education Department aims to promote Israeli art in Lithuania. The Department also serves as the main liaison between Israel and Lithuanian academia, with the mission of promoting academic exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
The Department assists Israeli musicians, filmmakers, actors, dancers, artists, chefs, writers, and other creatives in introducing their works to Lithuania. We celebrate Israeli culture, encourage cultural dialogue, and foster a multifaceted understanding of Israeli society.
We also collaborate with the area’s numerous cultural and academic institutions to organize various events, such as concerts, plays, film screenings, exhibitions, literary programs, and others. Through these partnerships, we celebrate Israeli culture, encourage cultural dialogue, and foster a multifaceted understanding of contemporary Israeli society.
By working closely with universities, academic institutes, and professionals, we also provide opportunities for Lithuanian students to pursue advanced studies in Israel through the Israeli government scholarship program.
