The applicant must be over the age of 18.
Appearance in person is mandatory for the issuance of a new travel document abroad and for the issuance of a travel document due to loss / theft / damage.
Applicants below the age of 18 must appear in person, accompanied by their parents.
If the parents are married, it is enough for one parent to be present.

The type of document issued will be determined by the consular representative at the mission.
Application for issuance of a passport or laissez passer, completed and signed.
Statement of loss, theft or damage of passport or laissez passer.
The applicant must schedule an appointment through the online appointment scheduler and come in person to an Israeli mission in the country where he/she is staying.
Before coming to the mission, make sure you have with you all the required documents and completed forms.

If an Israeli travel document was lost or stolen, please report to the local police authority.

In case of divorced, separated, common-law or single parents, the written consent of both parents is required. The consent can be signed before the Consul in any Israeli mission abroad, before a licensed notary, or at the offices of the Israel Population and Immigration Authority in Israel.
If the parents are divorced, and one of the parents lives in Israel, you must also submit divorce documents highlighting the section that indicates the parent living abroad has custody of the child.
