The 1st Malaria Stakeholders Meeting hosted by the East African Community was a big success!
We are glad to share the positive outcomes of the 1st Malaria Stakeholders Meeting, and see the concrete steps which have been identified to reduce the malaria burden across EAC countries. Together with our partners— scientists from KEMRI (Kenya) & the region, NMCP managers and Israeli experts from Hebrew University and Sheba Medical Center—a clear path forward has been established that leverages research, resource-sharing, and innovative strategies tailored to the region’s unique needs. This collaboration marks a promising advancement toward sustainable malaria mitigation efforts, and we look forward to supporting the implementation of these solutions.
