Elad Shoshan
Elad Shoshan was appointed Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul of Israel for the Southwest United States in February 2022. In his role, he aims to strengthen and promote diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations alongside the Consul General in the five-state region of Arkansas, Oklahoma. Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas.
Consul Shoshan is a serial entrepreneur with experience in the private and non-profit sectors. His career began as commander of the Yahalom Special Forces Unit. After completing his service, he worked with Taglit Birthright and began his studies in Business Administration and Finance at Reichman University, immersed himself in entrepreneurship, co-founding NOX Group, Israel's leading entertainment company specializing in culture. Over the next few years, he served as CEO of Momentum and CEO of Zikaron BaSalon; For his contributions there, he received the Israeli Presidential Award for Outstanding Volunteerism.
In addition to his work, Consul Shoshan's passion for social impact has led him to accept several global fellowships such as Schusterman, StandWithUs, UJA, and more.
He founded Guests of Honor, which led to him receiving the Edmond de Rothschild Award for Outstanding Entrepreneur. He is a board member of Jindas and co-founder of Yahalom Foundation, Wave-Ability, and Safe Place.
Before taking up his current position, he served as a diplomat at the Policy Research Center of the Department of International Strategic Affairs in Jerusalem of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
