FM Cohen and the families of the abductees held a briefing for 70 ambassadors to the UN institutions in Geneva. The goal is to maintain international support for Israel and exert pressure for the release of the abductees.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Eli Cohen and representatives of the Abducted families held a briefing yesterday (Tuesday, 14 November 2023) for 70 ambassadors to the UN institutions in Geneva.
At the briefing, In the briefing, FM Cohen presented Israel's activities since the October 7 massacre and the goals of the war that broke out in its wake.
The families of the abductees who participated in the meeting: Ofri Levy, sister of Yarden Bibas who was abducted to the Gaza Strip together with this wife and their two children ariel (4) and Kfir (10 months), Ilan Regev, the father of Mia and Etai who were abducted from the party in Re’im, Idit Ohel, mother of Alon Ohel who was abducted from the party in Re’im and Ayelet Svatitzky, daughter of Hanna Peri and sister of Nadav Popplewell, both of whom were abducted to Gaza.
The family members spoke about their loved ones and the circumstances of their abduction, and called on the ambassadors to take decisive action to ensure that international organizations visit the abductees and to form an international coalition that will lead to their immediate release.
