Its the Ambassador´s first visit to the industrial capital of Honduras.
On his first visit to the industrial capital, Israel's Ambassador to Honduras, Nadav Goren, arrived in San Pedro Sula on Monday (10/21) with the aim of strengthening relations between the two countries and exploring opportunities for cooperation.
The visit began with a warm meeting with Mayor Roberto Contreras at the San Pedro Sula City Hall. At the meeting, both discussed possible avenues for mutually beneficial collaboration. Later, Ambassador Goren met with the board of directors and businessmen of the Cortés Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIC), where he received information on the functions and activities of the chamber and discussed key areas in which economic cooperation can be developed, including water management and treatment, agriculture, municipal security, education, energy and cybersecurity.
The agenda included a visit to the Technological University of Honduras (UTH), where the ambassador met with academic authorities at the San Pedro Sula campus to discuss future collaborations with Israeli academic institutions.
The Association of Evangelical Pastors and Ministers (APME) organized a conference with evangelical leaders from various parts of the country to offer an official welcome to Ambassador Nadav Goren. The visit culminated with a visit to the Hebrew Temple Maguen David, where the diplomat celebrated the Sukkot holiday with the Jewish community of San Pedro Sula.
Throughout the visit, the Ambassador emphasized the need to leverage innovation to link the Israeli and Honduran economic ecosystems and create opportunities for the benefit of both peoples.
