Discussions centered on building a safer digital ecosystem through partnership and innovation. The highlight of the event was a panel conversation by experts from the Cyber Security Authority, Check Point Software, AimBetter, I+ Cyber, Twilight Cyber, the Cyber Security Expert Association Ghana and MultiThread ICT Solutions. They shared valuable insights on threat detection, vulnerability management, and public-private partnerships to address the unique challenges within Ghanaโs digital landscape.

Our Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Aviel Avraham spoke on behalf of the Embassy. He highlighted Israelโs capabilities in the cybersecurity sector and emphasized on the need to strengthen Israel-Ghana partnerships in the Cybersecurity sector.
โIsraelโs collaboration with Ghana in cybersecurity has been about building partnerships, exchanging expertise, and fostering an environment where we can learn from one another. Over the past years, we have engaged in dialogues and exchanges with the government and the business community - sharing knowledge, providing insights on best practices, and offering guidance on developing resilient cyber infrastructure.โ
The Director General of the Cyber Security Authority, Dr. Albert Ankwi-Boasiako expressed concern over the increasing nature of cybercrimes and emphasized on the need to build a robust system to fight it.

โThe reality is that cybersecurity threats are evolving, and as we embrace digital transformation, we are confronted with new challenges. Cybercriminals are becoming more sophisticated, and the potential impact of their actions increases exponentially. This highlights our shared responsibility to protect not just individual organizations but the very fabric of our nationโs infrastructure.

On his part, the head of the Cyber Security Expert Association Ghana raised concerns about the need to strengthen the capacity of cybersecurity professionals in Ghana.
