9-YEAR-OLD PETHUEL YEBOAH WINS DRAWING CONTEST

Ms. Pethuel Sompa Yeboah, a 9-year-old member of the children’s ministry of the Church of Pentecost has won our very fist Drawing Jerusalem of Ghana contest.

Drawing Jerusalem of Ghana Contest was a drawing competition initiated by the Embassy of Israel in Accra in collaboration with the Ghana Israel Friendship Association to engage children between the ages of 6 and 15.

Their task was to express their idea of the city of Jerusalem in Ghana through a creative drawing. In all about 21 churches participated and we received close to a hundred entries.

Ms. Sompa Yeboah belongs to the Church of Pentecost – La Area – Alajo District English Assembly.

Ambassador with the Leadership of the Pentecost Church

On Monday, 20 September, H. E. Shlomit Sufa, Ambassador Designate of the State of Israel to Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone presented to her, a certificate of honour for participating in the contest.

The Embassy of Israel is very grateful to all our partners especially the Ghana-Israel Friendship Association and all the various churches that encouraged their Sunday School children to participate in the contest.
