The innovative, energetic and vibrant cultural scenes of Israel came alive in Accra from Thursday, 26th to Monday, 31 October 2017 at the Kempinski Hotel, Gold Coast City. To crown the Cultural Week celebration, the Embassy in collaboration with Gorjiors International organized a fabulous Fashion Show to raise funds in support of Fistula surgeries for women in Ghana.

Fashion Designers whose collections graced the Run-way were Israel’s Betty Eldad, who showcased her original bet-ka collections. Supported by Vlisco, Ghana’s Royal Dennis also showcased beautiful collections of ladies’ wear and suave men’s suit.

The highlight of the Gorjiors International Diplomatix Runway night was the cut-walk on the Run-way by some diplomats and their spouses from the diplomatic community in Ghana, including Zimbabwe, Colombia, Denmark, India, Hungary, Australia, USA and Israel. Also joining the Run-way was the General Manager of Kempinski Hotel, Gold Coast City, Accra, Mr. Manish Nambiar and his spouse as well as Oded Sivan and his spouse from the Ghana Israel Business Chamber (GIBC). Pledging their support to end Fistula, members of the diplomatic community and all personalities who attended the event contributed an undisclosed amount to support Fistula surgeries.

The Diplomatix Runway event was attended by very high-profile members of government, clergy, the diplomatic community, the Israeli community, the reigning Miss Ghana, fashion designers and many more.
