The Public Diplomacy Department is responsible for the embassy's relations with the media, cultural institutions, and the general public, aiming to expand cooperation in these areas and engage the public in the various aspects of Israel. We work to promote Israeli culture in Georgia, emphasizing joint creation, exposing the local audience to Israeli activities, and operating on social media.
The Press and Digital Diplomacy Department manages ongoing relations with the local media to keep them informed about events in Israel. Since the October 7th terror attack and "Operation Iron Swords" war, most of our work has focused on providing an honest and updated picture of the war and raising awareness of the importance of the struggle to return our hostages.
The department also conducts digital diplomacy through social media and other digital media channels.
